Good Cascais restaurants and beaches recommendations please!

We will be arriving in Cascais in 2 weeks time and would like some recommendations of good restaurants. We are looking for good traditional Portuguese sea food restaurants where the locals eat, always a good sign, and also modern trendy restaurants.

Where are the best beaches close by? We will have a hire car so a short drive won’t be a problem.

Any other “Must do’s” whilst in the area would be helpful.

Many Thanks,

Andy.

There is a great Brazilian restaurant, can't think of the name, sorry. But don't limit yourself to Cascais. Take the train into Lisbon. It is really awesome there, and only like 20 min on the train. As for beaches, check out Guincho beach. Very close to Cascais.

Above is a good link to an article about Cascais, and there are many good ones there about things to do in Lisbon. Have a wonderful trip.

Visconde da Luz is excellent

If you have a car s trip to the village Alcabadeche & the restaurant facing the square is excellent . Alos going out along the road to Guincho there is a very fine fish restaurant on left hand side can't always recall names but will be in Michelin Guide Food at Guincho Hotle is good.

In Estroip the Restaurnat at the Hotel Palaccio four seasons is also excellent

Bon appetit
