Researching about May holiday

Just researching and would like to know more about Azores. Is there a good site to which I could obtain information?

Would like to know if there are Ryanair or Easyjet flights to Paris.

What is the temperature like at the end of May? Are there good beaches to sun and swim?

thank you kindly,

Hello onward,

have a look at http://www.visitazores.org/ it might help a bit.

As for the weather, May is usually a mild month, expect temp. around 14C-25C.

Check SATA website for some flight options. Toronto and Montreal are some of their destinations, as well as Paris.

Here in the UK we have a specialist tour company who set up personalised trips to the Azores, I have used them several times, and while I am not punting them as a company their site does give a good overview of all the islands, accommodation, activities, etc, go to http://www.azoreschoice.com/

And the islands are fantastic! Rural and quiet, do not expect 5* luxury, this is real grown-up tourism.

There are sand beaches on Sao Miguel and Santa Maria but it is not really a beach holiday place, beaches are a bit of a rarity in the Azores.
