Itinerary for Portugal Visit

Hi There

I am planning a trip to Portugal from 25th April for 5/6 nights

i wanted to tour everywhere and was thinking of the following

1 night in lisbon- see Baxia, st George's square etc in a day

2 nights caiscais- from there see sintra and caiscais itself

3 nights algarve- drive to algarve from caiscais and spend three nights at one of the resorts then drive back to Lisbon

I dont mind driving and seeing a place which is why there is alot in there but am wandering if there is too much in this and if i should leave algarve and stick to the lisbon area or whether I should just do algarve instead?

looking for a good holiday near a beach but also visit some nice quiet local villages where we can enjoy the seafood and views

any advice on itineraries is welcome

First of all you are far from doing everything just scraping the surface. One day in Lisbon is nothing. I would recomend you stay or in Lisbon or in Cascais then do day tours from there. Transports between Cascais/Sintra/Lisbon are cheap, frequent and easy to use. I would leave the Algarve for next time.

Have a nice trip!
