Where do I find the Cruise Forums?
Not commenting on this company itself since we haven't travel with them.
However pay close attention to the itinerary, in Portugal there's only one river that has overnight cruises - Douro river - in Spain it's the Guadalquivir river.
These rivers are in very different locations and never meet.
Most river cruises offer land trips by bus, while the boat stays stationary in port for several days, used as a floating hotel.
Example: From Seville to Cordova is a 6 hour return trip by bus.
There are also coastal cruises that follow the coastline of Portugal and Spain, in small ocean going cruise boats.
My suggestion is to look carefully into the details so you're fully aware of what type of travel you're purchasing.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate your suggestions. I am beginning to learn more about travelling to that area
From what I just read on Cruise Critic https://www.cruisecritic.com/, Grand Circle River Cruises don't do the Douro River (Portugal). Their Portugal/Spain tour is a land tour. With the above link, you can browse what river cruises are available. There are numerous river cruise companies that do the Douro Valley river cruises but most of them include time on a bus such as from Lisbon (hotel stay) to Porto and for your time in Spain. Check it out and see what interests you.
