We have stayed at the Palace Hotel in Poperinge.

It's very good if you are a beer fan, as they have a superb bar, and the food in the restaurant was exceptional.

Hi

We have stayed 3 times at the Hotel Recour in Poperinge as part of a group who do an annual 'booze cruise' from the UK. We book the whole hotel and have a fabulous dinner there in the evening.

The hotel is a lovely romantic boutique hotel and the photos on their website really don't do it justice. Each room is unique and has it's own name and style, and all are spotlessly clean. Particularly recommend the suites with the jacuzzi baths. The beds are the most comfortable we have slept in, and as many of us work for a major airline we have travelled a fair bit. Good breakfasts too.

Whilst it is probably best described as a boutique hotel it is very relaxed and homely. If the weather is good you can have afternoon tea or drinks in the garden. Recommend it without hesitation and we are all going again this year.

Poperinge is a small town and they have a standard market there on Saturday mornings. The hotel is in a road just off from the main square. A little difficult to find if you are driving around the oneway system so look out for the hotel signposts around the main square. There is parking in a public car park immediately next to the hotel.
