Travelling on Eurostar to Brussels then on to Bruges. Do you have to change stations in Brussels?

Hi,

You do, yes. You'll arrive in Brussels-South (= Midi in French, = Zuid in Dutch) where you have to change trains.

There are multiple trains per hour going to Bruges (direction: Knokke/Blankenberge, or Oostende). It's a direct train, which only stops in Gent. The journey is about an hour.

Kind regards,

Sabrina

No. You have to change *trains* - as described by Sabrina in answer 1 - but the trains for Bruges leave from the same *station* (Brussels-Midi/Zuid).

There are 2 fast trains per hour to Bruges - their final destination is either Oostende (Ostend) or Knokke/Blankenberge.

Also be aware that the Station nameboard will be in the local name BRUGGE, as the city is in the Dutch-speaking part of Belgium.

Just so I understand, when getting off the eurostar at Brussels. I will then need to get a train which says Oostende or Knokke in order to get to Bruges, Is that right?

Thanks

Gaz
