No, there is no train going directly from Brugge to Delft.

This journey involves at least two changes, either in Antwerpen-Berchem and Rotterdam Centraal or in Brussels Midi and Rotterdam Centraal.

Check out the time tables and itineraries at http://plannerint.b-rail.be/

Hi, I just posted a question about how to find my posts? At

least I found this one. I did look at this website that you

suggested. It was very helful.

When I went to the fares I put in Brugge to Delft. I sent me to

next page. there weren't any stations to Delft. I had to use

Rotterdam, den Hague, etc.

When I went to schedules, I again could put in Delft. I had to

choose either Delft or Delft Zuid. I don't know which one I should

choose.

Do I need to get another ticket at Rotterdam to go on to Delft?

Thanks again.

You have to choose Delft, not Delft Zuid.

Since Delft is in the Netherlands, the Belgian rail website will most probably not be able to give you a price indication because Delft isn't a major station (unlike Amsterdam or Rotterdam). You can however buy a ticket from Brugge to Delft. No need to buy a separate ticket in Rotterdam.

Thanks, again. Is there anyway to get some sort of weekend

ticket, cheaper that 30E?

Also, when it states a fare like 12E return that is the total

amount of the fare, right? As seniors can we travel for

4E return after 9:a.m. Is that 8 E total or just 4 E. I apologize

for asking so many (dumb) questions.

First of all, there is no such thing as a dumb question.

When it states 12€ return, that is the total amount of the fare indeed.

In Belgium seniors (which is +65 and not +60 as in many countries) can travel for 4€ return (roundtrip) per person after 9:01 a.m. 4€ for one person, 8€ for 2 persons, etc.

Regarding the weekend ticket cheaper than 30€, depends on where you want to travel. A weekend return from Brugge to Antwerp, for instance, will only cost 13.40€ roundtrip per person.

You have been so much help. Thank you.

Our plans are to leave Sat 15th at 7.55. Will the trains be

crowded because it is a weekend?

If this is from Brugge to Delft, I don't think the trains will be crowded. If you were going in the direction of the Belgian coast, they might be but not inland.

That is good. I read a post in Fodor's that a atm card only

cannot be used in Belgium. It has to be a bank/debit card.

Do you know if this is true? We have never had trouble using

our atm card.

Hi, Amboseli. Are there any porters at any of the train stations

that can help getting the luggage onto the trains?

I don't know if porters still exist in Belgium. I'm afraid not, to be honest.

About ATM cards. I don't know what you mean by 'an atm card only'. Credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Amex, ... are widely accepted in Belgium. They can also be used for withdrawing cash from ATM machines. This 'atm card only' that you're talking about must be something different.

By the way, I'm MyriamC on Fodor's.
