you can go to any train station in belgium and get tickets to any train trip within belgium. However there are some train stations that will not serve trains going to places where you may want to go.
In Brussels there are 3 main train stations, South (Midi), Central (being this one the closest to the touristy part of the center) and North. In Antwerp the main one is Antwerp central and in Ghent it is called St. Peter and Bruges's one is called Brugge station. I would advice to go to those if you want to move around cities.
In any Ghent station you can purchase tickets for your destinations.
quick note though: dont waste time at the automated machines unless you have a local debit card - most of these machines dont accept credit card. Best to go and wait in line.
You can even buy tickets on the train, but it is more expensive and you have to look yourselve for the ticket collector, if you don't you will get a fine
