Luxembourg to Ikea Arlon

I need to get from Luxembourg city to Ikea Arlon, except I need to get there via public transport. Can anyone tell me whether there are any buses or trains, or a combination of both that I can use on a Saturday toget to and from Lux to Arlon Ikea?

Train to Arlon, of course, then TEC bus 80 to IKEA - although this says there aren't very many, 7 a day must be something like one an hour for a limited period: ikea.com/ms/fr_BE/img/store_images/arlon/pdf…

HI

Denise Lux,

Did you foud any suitable solution for your IKEA trip ?

We have the same problem , needing to get there over the week end to buy a matress and there is no apparent car location that seems open over the week end in Luxembourg.

Have you been there by train and Bus ?

is that doable wih a double matress ?

Many thanks,

Adrien

Whether you can physically manage it or not, I cannot see the bus driver letting you on with a double mattress. You could theoretically ask TEC to confirm, but I can assure you that in Brussels (STIB) it isn't allowed; in fact theoretically it isn't even allowed on the metro although that would be a lot easier to get away with.

IKEA rent vans themselves, of course: ikea.com/ms/…transport.html.
