Train from city to city in Brussels then off to Nuremberg

Landing in Brussels and would like to train to Ghent/Bruge/Antwerp - then off to Nuremberg.

Looks like there are some summer specials for the city to city portion, but please offers suggestions on that and also assist on how to go to Nuremberg (can leave from Antwerp or Brussels whichever makes more sense)

Thanks !

You can travel by train from Brussels Airport or Brussels (the airport is not IN Brussels) to any of the Belgian cities mentioned, and if you have seen the "summer deal" information (for travel on weekdays in August: €12 to/from BRU, €7.50 between any other Belgian stations) you have presumably also seen the train information. You can consult timetables on www.belgianrail.be - using the French or Dutch names of stations, e.g. Bruxelles-Nat-Aéroport, Gent St. Pieters, Brugge, Antwerpen-Centraal.

Given that Brussels is further South than Antwerp, it is slightly a better departure point for Nuremberg. You can reach it in 5h34 with just one change, in Frankfurt, if you start by taking ICE from Bruxelles-Midi. You can find all connections and prices for your particular dates (which you don't mention) on either the international site of Belgian Railways, www.b-europe.com/Travel, or that of German Railways, http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en

Thank you very much for the information. The starting point info (Bruxelles-Midi) was especially helpful and I wasn't sure where the change would be(was thinking maybe Cologne or Aachen) -

Thanks for your help-I will go onto the sites to find the prices & timetables.
