Daytrip to Brussels with luggage?

It's a long story, but we'll be taking the train from Brugge to Paris. Would like to time things so that we have 4-5 hours in Brussels to see the Grand Place and Manneken Pis. But we'll have enough luggage to mount a 6 month Mt. Everest expedition. Any suggestions as to how we could work things?

There is a place to store your luggage at Gare du Midi and you can catch a train from there to Brugge. You could also ask the Bellhop at the Meridien Hotel (across from Central Station and near the Grand Place) to store your bags (for a nice tip I am sure they will help you out.)
