Sigh!!

Tulips are a Spring flower. June is not Spring therefore no tulips. K'hof is closed so there is no point in going.

"What else is must see?"

Depends on your interests. What do you like, dislike? Why did you choose to buy a ticket to Amsterdam in the first place?

As for flowers, this may come close enough for you: floraholland.com/en/…

Don't worry, Dutchies call it A'dam all the time (at least in writing), and the Overhoeks tower got that name as a cute nickname. And a city-loving tv soap series was called "A'dam E.V.A." (Amsterdam en vele anderen, Amsterdam and many others)... Main characters were called Adam and Eve.... A series that showed great love for the city and all its people.

It was in the news last year when the new bus station roof, in it's uncompleted state, said (AMSTE being the missing part) RDAM. R'dam being a common nickname for The Netherlands' Second City. Scandalous!

Ha ha, that RDAM must have hurt the chauvinist Amsterdammers. I have to say the complete AMSTERDAM looks great when seen from EYE.

Way off-topic but it reminds me of beautiful wordplay during Rotterdam Central Station's reconstructions, they used the letters of 'CENTRAAL STATION' and spelled 'TRAAN LATEN' (shed a tear), beautifully placed on top of the station and I guess showing the sadness about losing the old version of the station. …wikipedia.org/wiki/Bestand:Rotterdam_CS_sep…
