Good day, I would like to know please what's the cheapest way to go from Berlin to Amsterdam? Thank you.
Generally bus, e.g. Eurolines. Train comes 2nd, www.bahn.de; and flight except when you get real bargains 3rd (transavia.com, easyjet.com).
All the best,
<Erik> & [Sandya]
I have given you some infos at the german Amsterdam forum, the same like Erik :-).
Hitchhiking is cheapest, but not necessarily safest (or fastest)... www.hitchhikers.org
Transavia does not fly non-stop from AMS to BER. Easyjet does fly non-stop as does KLM but at 3.5 times the cost of Easyjet.
Train is much less hassle, much more relaxing and less costly.
Amsterdam Centraal to Berlin Hbf from 39 euros by InterCity train, www.bahn.de/en
That's city centre to city centre, no added booking fees, no baggage limits, no lengthy check-in to worry about, with a proper waiter-service restaurant car - very civilised! The trains leave every two hours.
Booking usually opens 92 days ahead and you print your own ticket. Book early for the best prices.Edited: 2:03 am, April 30, 2014
39 euro is so cheap! First class is also being offered at only 69 euros!!
