Which hotel for single female?

My wife is traveling to Amsterdam for two days. She has to visit the Clinical Training center of VUMC, De Boelelaan 1118 for a day. She also has a spare day for sightseeing.

Please suggest a budget hotel which is within walking distance or tram's way of the medical center.

Also suitably situated to get to all the museums and tourist places.

thanks.

If budget is an issue and if you want her in an upscale 4 star then look at this link on bidding.

Someone would have to advise on the best zone to bid for the medical center.

A win between $55 and $90 USD a night is what you might expect depending on dates. Plus a little in tax and fee.

By far the best value.

It's an option to at least consider once you mention budget.

Ok so what is your actual budget? Try the Easy Hotel or a hostel.

I believe the Clinical Training Center of VUMC is on the # 16 and 24 Tram line which would give you access to a lot of hotels. Look them up using the Booking.com hotel map, and read the reviews.

60 euros is a tiny single room in a 1 or 2 star very basic hotel. Almost all will have steep stairs and no lift.

I have spent many a night in one or another of these type of hotels.

Some are dumps. Some like the hotel Brouwer are quite nice.

The best value, closest to your budget, is going to be bidding.

It's a very expensive hotel city.

If you are going to book direct with a hotel , and not bid, then you need to do a search and see what is out there at your budget.

Rates normally fluctuate according to dates and occupancy

Probably closer to the RAI or Zuid stations. I would suggest you zoom in on the map, its not going to be in the Museum Quarter.
