What is the best way to purchase rail tickets leaving Paris in the am and arriving Amsterdam around noon in April 2014? staying for 2 nights?? Have plans also to see Brussels and Brugges but separate from the Amsterdam trip. seniors age 60+

David L, since your question has nothing to do with the original one it's probably better to open a new thread.

Brussels and Bruges are inbetween those two cities so it would not make sense to travel the same way twice or three times.

Just wondering what area if Amsterdam is the best to stay in? Ie near most stuff. We are a group of 4 wanting to be in the mist of things but also would like to stay somewhere relatively nice. Also what's good places to visit? We are 24-26 years of age and would like cafés, pubs, light culture e.g Heineken museum and we love food!
