Creperie in city centre?

Hi there,

A friend of mine recommended a creperie she ate in whilst on holiday in Amsterdam last year. She can't remember the name but thinks it was 'along the canel' and 'in the centre'. Having never been in Amsterdam have no idea where this would be. Anybody recognise it?!

Thanks in advance!

You mean a french style creperie or a dutch 'pannekoekenhuis' (pancake house)?

French style from what I can gather. Thank you.

Yes, I did google it thanks but as I say having never been to Amsterdam the locations that the search provided meant absolutely nothing to me. Hence this post.

Prices seem much higher than in France though.

Crepe nature (or a 'Tourtou' ) during my summer holiday was just one euro on the local market.

There is also Crepes & Waffles located on the Warmoesstraat. If you are coming from Centraal Station head towards the Grasshopper passing it on your left. At the first street make a right. The shop is about 20 meters up on the left.
