The Zoo in Zurich is pretty big (maybe comparable to the one in Singapore) so you need a few hours to get through everything. You can reach it by tram from the main station in Zurich. All details about the zoo on http://www.zoo.ch

There is as well a very nice mid sized zoo in Arth-Goldau right next to the Rigi train. Different to the zoo in Zurich it has mostly animal from Switzerland and no real indoor parts with tropical rainforests or so. www.tierpark.ch

Hi Wenray75

Arth-Goldau is very easy. Look at www.sbb.ch/en and input from "Lucerne" to "Goldau, Tierpark" and you will get the directions and schedules.

If you would like to see the whole park (withoout using the playgrounds for the kids) it will take you nearly three hours as with the new part with the bear park it is pritty large in the meantime.

Have fun
