Booking VIP Seats - Choosing Seats and Which pass to get?

Good morning. We plan on buying VIP tickets from Montreux to Interlaken. Which pass should we buy in order to buy these tickets? Also, how do I buy the VIP tickets and how do I choose the correct seats? Thank you so very much!

The VIP seats are First class so if you do not want to have to buy an upgrade to your pass get a First class pass. The Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Travel Pass FLEX both cover the Goldenpass line 100%. If you have a half fare card then just buy your half fare ticket Montreux to Interlaken Ost.

To reserve the seats - go onto the Goldenpass line site - www.goldenpass.ch You can book them there and pay for them with no need to have a ticket in hand. Cost is 15frs/seat. However do not buy the second row as it really isn't worth it. You will be looking over the heads of the people in the front row. If there are two of you then try to get two of the three seats on the right of the aisle. The single seat on the left of the aisle is narrower with less leg room etc than the other 3 in that row. the site clearly shows the direction of travel.

Note that the VIP seats are only available Montreux to Zweisimmen. At Zweisimmen you have a change of train and rolling stock is different.
