St. Moritz Bungalow!

Hi there.

We are 2 adults with 2 children(5,10) and are looking for a nice place to stay for 3-4 nights next summer in the mountains(22-07-06). Children friendly maybe a bungalow. We will be driving around and then going to Lake Garda.

If you know about a good place, please let us know.

Best regards

There are not that many Bungalow's in Switzerland! I don't think that is a concept that has yet developed in Switzerland!Housing is at a premium and even ordinary looking houses are more than likely to be split into several apartments.

However you should be able to rent an apartment quite easily in St Moritz they come in various sizes and should be able to suit your requirements. Try looking on the St Moritz tourismn web site or www.interhome.com

Hi Bjarni & Soffia

As mostlybytrain already mentioned, the concept of Bungalows is not very common here. We are living in a hard climat and houses can be heated and protected better. You can book a holiday apparment directly on the St. Moritz website www.stmoritz.ch (also in English). Most appartments during the high season are rented for one week at least, usually starting saturday. And then, there is enough to do also filling one week easily. If you can not find an appartment for just 3-4 nights, try a hotel with a family room or 2 connecting rooms. This safes you time with shopping for everything you need in an appartment and you have more time for activities.
