Planning trip next year with hubbie 17yo and 13yo.
Rome - Pisa - Vencie - Como - Colico - Chiavenna - St Moritz - Basel - Paris.
Looking at 21 - 28 days.
I spent 6 months as a 9 yr old in Chiavenna and surrounds, can't wait to return to the majestic place.
Have researched Trenitalia city to city fares and seems to be a lot cheaper than europass.
Any advice on best plan of attack would be greatly appreciated.
Is the europass (we would need 3 country pass) simpler to use and does it include Bus from Chiavenna to St.Moritz and lake ferry fares as we plan to go from Como to colico via ferry if poss then train from Colico to Chiavenna.
Tossin up between Maloja pass and Bernina, both gorgeous. What's your opinion?
Any info on good family accomodation in above cities would be great.
Hope you can help out here, look forward to your response ....... ... thanks
