old house with poem on wall

We passed an old house shored up with girders and on the wall was,I think ,a poem;

Lueg-das Luuhe

Isch a Hatz

Spring nud set

chumm-da gills Platz

uf em Bankli

hinderem Hus

ruehl si-s?

so pommaig us

I think its Swiss german, can anyone translate?

IS Swiss German. Engadiner or Pore or Krist v can translate it. Will send them a link!

Hi rogerquilter

I do not think that you copied it all correctly.

Lueg-das Luuhe could be Lueg das Läbe (or Laebe)

Isch a Hatz

Spring nud set

chum da gills Platz could be chumm da gitts Platz

uf em Bankli (or Bänkli)

hinderem Hus

ruehl si-s (??)

so pommaig us (??)

Translation could be (not easy as there are many old dialect expressions)

See, this life is in a hurry

Do not run so fast, look there is a seat

on the bench behind the house

Sorry, I do not understand the last two lines, maybe Engadiner does.

@Pore: does not make sense to me either, it would also depend on where he copied it - most probably somewhere in Austria or South Tirol? I suppose the last two lines mean something along "where you can really rest"
