Is there a chance to park a car in Davos during 22 January 2014?
Yes, but you should expect thorough controls and (much) slower traffic ... and you should not carry a bomb with you ;-))
Anyhow, I would advice to use the train, at least from Landquart.
I would suggest you park the car in Scuol (coming from Austria, right?). Buy the "1-Fränkler-Vergnügen", which is a package offered by the Rhaetian Railways: Day ticket for Davos + 1 CHF surcharge and the train ride from Scuol to Klosters/Davos is included. The train stops in Klosters right by the Gotschnagrat cable car, which is the start for Parsenn skiing area.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion, but except for trying a little bit of skiing I want to have a look at Davos dorf as well.
And having skis and ski shoes and no car makes it all too difficult to do. That is why I wanted to take Vereina Tunnel and park near Jakobshorn skilifts - to ski a little bit and to see Davos itself.
