Private fare of mountain excursions -starts when ?

We are bit confuse on when does the private operator fare start when we take their train to visit the mountains. We intend to visit Mt Jungfraujoch Top Of Europe and Mt Schilthorn from Interlaken. We understand the trains for these mountain trips are operated by private operators. Even if you have a Swiss Pass, you still need to pay about 50% of the trip. Our questions is when does the train by these private operator start charging us ?

For Jungfraujoch, can we use our Swiss Pass to take the train for free from Interlaken to Kleine Scheidegg . Private operator train will start charging us 50% only from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch?

For Mt Schilthorn, can we use our Swiss Pass to take the train for free from Interlaken to Stechelberg Schilthornbahn . Priviate operator /Cable Car will start charging us from Stechelberg Schilthornbahn to Mt Schilthorn ?

Or do we start paying the 50% rate with our Swiss Pass from Interlaken onwards. Sorry for these silly questions, but we just want to do our math correctly. Whether to buy a Swiss Pass or Half-Fare Pass. Thank you everyone.

No. Free with Swiss Pass to Wengen/Grindelwald. 25% reduction above that. Half Fare Card works out cheaper to Jungfraujoch giving a 50% discount all the way from Interlaken Ost.

Free with Swiss Pass to Mürren. 50% reduction from there to Schilthorn.

You can buy your ticket for your excursion in Interlaken on presentation of your Swiss Pass the ticket clerk will sell you a reduced ticket. I always buy my ticket on arrival at the start of the private operator just in case I have a change of plan or the weather changes for the worse during the journey.

It is also a good idea to look out for local offers these can be cost effective for example they may include a meal at the summit restaurant.
