Advice on Jungfrau - For a couple Mid 20s Mid March

1. Which between Grindelwald and Murren is a better place to stay? Prefer an area covered under snow during Mid March and fewer crowds.

2. Which between Grindelwald or Murren is better from the point of view of exploring places outside the town/going on walking trails during March?

3. Are we running a risk that most hotels/chalets be closed during March?

Ideally, we are planning to spend 4 days in the region.

Any advice would be welcome.

Both towns should have ample accomodation during March since it is still ski season.

Grinelwald may not have a lot of snow in the village itself but surely on the slopes that surround it. Murren will almost positively have snow. (It's a good bit higher in elevation).

Grindelwald will also be more crowded, especially on weekends.

Getting out of town to go to other towns is a little more involved from Murren but the scenery is more dramatic there.

Each has it's advantages you just have to decide which things are the most important to you.
