Suggestions on travel card/pass (first time in Switzerland)

I and my husband are planning to visit Switzerland next year. I understand I am planning a bit early. But again it's a lifetime trip for us. So need your help. Our trip starts at London and we r planning to fly to Zurich on 2nd June 2019. Here is the rough itinerary:

2nd June - fly to Zurich from London. Train to Lucerne. Sight seeing Lucerne (specially cruising)

3rd June - Mt. Titlis and Engelberg trip. Night at Lucerne.

4th June - early morning train to Interlaken. Trip to Breinz and Giessbach fall. Sightseeing interlaken. Train to Wengen. Night at Wengen.

5th June - Jungfraujoch trip. Night at Wengen.

6th June - Schilthorn trip

7th June - Back to Zurich and fly to Paris for the rest of our tour.

My question: 1. Is this itinerary doable? Should I cut something or include something?

2. If the weather is bad what are the alternative to Schilthorn and Jungfraujoch?

3. What Travel Card / Pass should I opt for in this kind of itinerary?

Your advices will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi

As you only have 5 days, one base would be ideal, but if you want to do both Jungfraujoch and Titlis then your plan is reasonable. I would actually go to Wengen first, then Lucerne, then train (rather than flying) to Paris (via Basel).

It's not essential to do both Jungfraujoch and the Schilthorn, there are plenty of other excursions and walks around Wengen. You can do a trip to Bern if the weather is poor.

The monthly Swiss half fare card is your best choice, giving 50% off all your travel, including mountain excursions.

Have a great time.

Hi lan1291

Thanks for your prompt reply. Can you tell me about some alternative excursions in this region in case the weather is not good? I mean if we do only Schilthorn one day, what else can we do the other day instead of Jungfraujoch? We are interested in nature more over history.

Can you provide me the link to order the pass that you were talking about?
