Only do these trips if good weather.

Cost (it's not cheap but well worth it in good weather) will depend on what if any price reduction cards or passes you have.

Take the train from Grindelwald to the Kleine Scheidegg then get on the Jungfraujoch train to the 'Top of Europe'. Give yourself plenty of time when up the Jungfrau as there is a lot to see and do.

Another trip would be to take the train from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg and change for the train down to Lauterbrunnen (more scenic route). From Lauterbrunnen rail station walk across the road and take the cable car to Grutschalp, from there a short train journey to Murren. Walk through Murren to the Schilthorn cable car station and take the cable car to the Schilthorn (you change cable cars in Birg). Not as difficult as it sounds.

Check out the websites for these places and see for yourself if suitable.

Remember to take your camera and a jacket as it's cooler up the mountains.

Enjoy your holiday.

Swiss Alps is one of the most beautiful place on earth, you can spend one month there and still have many things to do. If you like outdoor and hiking, it's heaven. There are so many different trails, from easy to advance level, and the view is out of this world. If you are serious about hiking, you should bring your hiking boot, it's easier on your ankle.

Two of the top attractions are to go up to the top of Jungfraujoch (www.jungfraubahn.ch) and to the top of Schilthorn. (www.schilthorn.ch). The cost for the ride up to Jugfraujoch is very expensive, with the Swiss pass discount (50%), it's CHF 100 for one adult. We did the Schilthorn instead, it's cheaper (around CHF 37?) and the ride up was very beautiful. Have a wonderful trip!
