Alright - here's a dopey and (what I imagine is) arcane piece of useless knowledge I crave. Just down Pore's alley, I suppose.
I've spent a lot of time considering what I'd find really representative of Switzerland to bring home, and I've happened across my grail item - one genuine Swiss St. Bernard Barrel. Not as loud as a clock, not as expensive as a watch, and less stabby than a Swiss army knife. Not a tiny plastic one - a St. Bernard sized wooden one.
For all I know yet, they may sell this "clever" souvenir at every tourist trap and airport duty-free. But, just in case they don't, what are the chances of digging one up in either Lucerne or Basel? Any advice would be deliriously appreciated.Edited: 10:51 pm, March 20, 2014
