Mt. Rigi - on foot

I would like to walk on foot to the top of Mt. Rigi. I know, there is a foot path from Weggis to Rigi. Is it the only possible way? Does exist any other way, e. g. from Vitznau or Kussnacht? Thanks

Have a look at the online map on map.wanderland.ch. There are numerous ways up the Rigi on foot, many of which offer the option of doing part of it by train or cable car if you don't want to walk the full 1300 metres uphill.

In general terms, the ways up from the south (eg Brunnen, Gersau) are longer than those from further north (eg Küssnacht, Goldau). I have heard that the path up from Küssnacht via Seebodenalp is a good one, although I have not yet done it myself.
