Did you ever sleep in a Jail?

Did you ever sleep in a jail? In jail where the doors are always open for you?

1999 the old jail of Lucerne became a hotel, the jailhotel Löwengraben near the lions monument. For more information look at http://www.jailhotel.ch/

The University of cape Town's Business School is located in an old jail (very impressive building!) on the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. I once attended a conference there and it was much nicer than when it was actually a jail! Later my daughter's father-in-law told me that he had slept there for a night when in the navy in WWII - got arrrested in a bar and taken there to "cool off". His cell was not nearly as comfortable as ours!!
