Mt. Titlus or Mt Pilatus...which offers the best Alpine view

Will be in Lucerne in August. We want to view the top of a mountain for grest views of the Alps. Which is best for overall views and the experience. Titlis or Pilatus?

Apparently a popular question in this Forum.. An answer I gave earlier last year is this:

If you like to have a real "mountain feeling" you should go for Titlis (here you will see a glacier & plenty of snow), if you prefer a romantic trip & a beautiful view over Lucerne & the lake you should go for Pilatus.

Cheers,

bowmore

there is even a third very nice mountain arount this area, it is Mt. Rigi. This one is not that high than the other two, but the panoramic view is absolutely great (this is my favorit!)
