stopover near Geneva to not to drive in the city

Good Morning,

Hope you are doing great.

My wife and I are planning on doing the London-Calais-Geneva-Thonon-les-Bains-Chamonix-Turin-Alba-Savona-La Spezia route .

On our way back to from La Spezia to Calais for the Eurotunnel, we plan to have a 1-night stopover at (near) Geneva. 6th May night.

We definitely don’t want to drive in Geneva and therefore want to find a place near Geneva ; where we can park our vehicle and take a local transport into Geneva.

Wanted your help to find a hotel near Geneva;

which is more Swiss in character than a generic international chain hotel and

ideally within 175 EUR a night, stretching to 225 EUR.

Would appreciate your advice.

Thanks and regards, Amit

Look in Nyon, Rolle and Morges (all within 30 minutes direct train to Geneva). Parking and hotels will be less expensive... On another thread for instance, someone mentioned recently http://www.hcrolle.com/en/. Could be an option.
