Group travel next summer

My friends (5 couples) and I are looking to visit Switzerland for 6/7 days next July. We were thinking to arrive in Geneva, head to Interlaken for a lake cruise, then to Jungfraujoch, Lucern, Bern, Zurich and either fly out there or back to Geneva. We'd prefer not to rent a car if possible (knowing we'd need 2 at least), Is this possible to do using a Swiss Pass? We are not on a tight budget but also aren't looking to break the bank as two couples are on moderate incomes.

We are all active between 30 and 45. We enjoy seeing nature/sculptures/museums and music from other cultures. Also one is a chef so traditional cuisine is a must.

Any help for us is greatly appreciated.

You can use a Swiss Travel Pass - but for Jungfraujoch (the most expensive part of your trip) you will get only a 25% discount.

For finding out the best pass for your trip, someone has to do the maths: use some spread-sheet application, compile a list of all trips (and museum or exhibition entrances), get ticket prices, compare overall cost without and with the possible passes.

Groups of 10 and more people can get a 20% group ticket discount - details see for instance at https:/…group-tickets.html - especially on reservation.

For details on Jungfraujoch trips and tickets see jungfrau.ch/en/… - especially link "Discounts". Group ticket discount also available for 10 and more people - but also reservation required (not ideal for mountain trips)

You can also get free seat reservations for trains for your group via the SBB. Which means you can all sit together on the trains without hunting for seats to be together.

For your itinerary - suggest you go from Interlaken (area, hopefully and not Interlaken itself which is a real tourist trap in summer) to Luzern via the Goldenpass line route over the Brünig pass. This is one of our scenic train rides. Then go back to Geneva via Bern. Bern is well worth 4-6 hours exploration. It is very beautiful. Luzern makes a perfect base for all of central Switzerland. See Top Questions about... each of these cities on the RH tool bar of the respective forums.
