You can use Euro at some of the places, but then you will loose out on the conversion charges overtime you use it.

None. Just use your ATM card to withdraw money locally as needed.

You will need Swiss francs. As Altamiro suggests, use ATMs with your cash card from home. (tell your home bank before you leave that you will be doing that). There are lots of ATMs at the airports and there are ATMs at most of the stations as well.

If you try to pay in EUR many places will take them BUT the rate they will give you will be worse than at a bank. They have to send a member of staff to the bank to deposit/change the EUR into CHF.
