Swiss people in general do not reserve seats except they have to, the ones who usually do that are the inexperienced tourists. And for the routes you travel no need either.

Reservation is not possible for most train travel in Switzerland. Usually trains within Switzerland are used like a wide area public transport system: get ticket or pass, jump in - if you miss one connection, simply take the next.

Check www.sbb.ch timetable - enter itinerary, date and time, get details - reservation is possible for train itineraries marked R - reservation required when marked [R]

You do not need to reserve seats on any of these trains unless you plan to take an international express train from Brig to Domodossola and you want to be sure of a seat. However even on these you can simply get on in Brig and look for an empty seat. There will be a LED readout above the seats showing IF they are reserved and from where to where. But there are local trains that also go Brig to Domo and there are no reservations at all on these except for groups.
