Hi, there are 8 of us going to North Italy for 8 to 9 days. This is our first trip to Italy. We plan to fly in from London but not sure what would be the best way to see the cities in an economical way.
I need comment for our plan as below :
Flying to Rome
Rome - 2 nights
Train Rome - Florence & spend 2 nights in Florence
Day tour to Pisa
Then train from Florence - Venice and 2 nights in Venice.
Should we do a day tour to Milan or should we take a train from Venice & spend a night in Milan then fly back to London from Milan?
We prefer a mix of sightseeing & shopping tour. Since we are not familiar with the cities at all, can any one recommend what hotel to stay in each city and what will be the best way to travel from train station to hotel. What will be charges, I remembered I went to Rome 5 years ago and got a good recomendation from one of the member from Tripadvisor, we got a good deal on the airport transfer but not sure if anyone have contact for airport transfer for Rome, Venice, Florence or Milan?
Thank you so much
