Always my pleasure David – You have good options that can even be revised after your arrival depending on weather, interests at the time, a serendipitous experience.....

And on arrival, check with Tourist Information, as well as your B&B....

Not so - Can't see the forest for the trees....

You are more organised than you think - Just take a break and then go back to it.

Dear Vagabonda,

Are Valley of the Temples at Sunset tours possible from Syracuse?

Hi David,

Siracusa isn’t the optimal destination for day excursions to Agrigento.

Sunset tours of Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples begin in Agrigento.

Visiting lighted Agrigento Temples:

But you might be able to take tours from Siracusa to Agrigento and could probably customise a sunset tour.

If you prefer not to drive after sunset, have you considered spending your first or last night in Agrigento? You could then also enjoy views of the temple illuminated at night from your hotel.
