Ferries Travel Genoa to Rome

I have been searching a while now but cannot find any ferries that go from Genoa to Rome with an overnight trip. Can anyone help with this?

Hi Brisbane, I think because Genoa and Rome are not seperated by water. You can rail or drive there.

But if you wanted to visit either Corsica or Sardinia, you could take a ferry from Genoa and then return to Civitavechia, which is near Rome.

There are no ferries from Genoa to Rome. The train would take about 5 hours. You could always fly, but no budget airlines offer this route.

Thank you both for the information. We are already spending a bit of time on trains and so therefore wanted to explore other means of travel as well, and particularly liked the idea of the ferries. Thanks again.
