Best Pasta WITHOUT Seafood

Any reasonable priced recommendations for classic Italian pasta like spaghetti alla carbonara, lasagna alla bolognese, ravioli ai funghi porcini, etc? I understand Venice is known for its seafood but I want to have these dishes without the seafood. Any help? Thank!

Most Restaurants display Menus in English, so you can see what is on offer, although Sea Food is prevalent but you will have no problem finding meals without,

I have had excellent pasta with funghi at Cantinone Storico in Dorsoduro on the canal-side running off Campo San Vio and other pasta dishes with vegetables at alla Zucca in Calle del Tintor in Santa C roce, not far from Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio

La Bitta, Calle Lunga San Barnaba, does not serve fish or seafood at all. They do some pasta dishes.

We had a visitor who is allergic to seafood, so it was a good choice for us.

All restaurants will have pasta without seafood, it won't be a problem, check out the menus outside the restaurants before you enter.

Even restaurants geared toward seafood will have non-seafood dishes. You won't have a hard time finding something to eat at all. Since it's Venice, you will likely see an English menu as well. Bringing along some sort of food glossary (Italian to English) will also help you sort things out.

Finding spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce is not ever a problem, and the sauce rarely if ever will come from a bottle, unless it is a tourist trap.

There are many more Venetian dishes, for example "Pasticcio di verdure", a vegetarian lasagna dish, often made with vegetables from Sant'Erasmo, like raddicchio, or in season "Risotto agli Asparagi" made with local asparagus.

And if ravioli ai funghi porcini are actually made with real porcini mushrooms, and not just a bit of powdered porcini seasoning, they are probably not going to reasonably priced, though they probably will be unforgettably delicious.

One of the best meals I had in Venice was from a little trattoria just inland from the San Stae vaporetto stop. I don't remember the name, but outside it was a handwritten menu in Italian. We went in and had lunch. Not many people there, but all speaking Italian apart from us and a French couple.
