Venice to Verona

I'm going to Italy in a couple of weeks, staying in Lido di Jesolo and wonder if anyone can help me with travel (by train) between Venice and Verona.

How often do the trains run, how long does it take etc?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Venice Santa Lucia station to Verona takes around 1 hour 20 minutes. Check timetables on www.trenitalia.it (English language version).

You rmajor problem will be getting from Lido di Jesolo, which is not on a railway line, to either Venice Santa Lucia station or Mestre, which is the first station on the mainland.

The nearest staion to Lido di Jesolo is at S. Dona, where you will be able to get a train to Mestre and catch the Verona express.

Sorry, I cannot help you on how to get from Lido di Jesolo to S. Dona but I suspect there is a local bus servcie.

My experiences are of Venice, not Lido di Jesolo.
