Padua - transportation

Is transportation to/from the industrial areas frequent? We plan on staying in the business section, and plan to travel by train. Do we have to plan on taxis to get us to town and to the train stations?

There are a number of bus lines connecting the industrial area with the train station and other areas in town. Lines 7, 15, and 18, for example. They run every 15 minutes at busy times during the day, and about every 30 minutes at other times.

Where do you exactly plan to stay? The biggest industrial area of Padua lays east of the town and the only bus that gets into it is number 7 (number 18 and 15 only get you on the main roads surrounding the whole area).

Have a look at this map: apsholding.it/mobilita/…mappalinee2010.pdf

Then try to understand with google maps if the distance of your lodging to the bus stop is walkable.
