Yes, I would do that way. You can storage your luggages, the area is lower level and then either by taxi or with the subway you can go to the Duomo area, from there walk on Corso Vittorio Emanuele which ends up at Piazza San Babila, then continue walking towards Via Spiga, Via Montenapoleone up to Via Manzoni - these 3 streets are for top brands !!!!!!

From here you can walk back up to the Duomo. If you look this "itinerary" on a map you can see it's like a circle.

Be aware that there's a weight limit of 20 kg per piece at the luggage storage in Milano Centrale.

There are no lockers in Milan central station it's a manned left luggage facility and all the luggage is searched befor eyou can leave it so there are sometimes long queues and as someone already said there's a 20kg per person limit.

Hi! Is it possible to leave your luggage there for 3 days. And what are the prices per day?

Thank you!

The cost for each piece of luggage is 4 Euros for the first 5 hours, then 0.60 per hour for up to 12 hours then 0.20 per hour for each aditional hour.

Please have a look at the bottom of this page: tripadvisor.com/Travel-g187849-s301/Milan:It…

The cost per piece of luggage is a bit higher.

Update, they now scan the luggage so it's a lot quicker.

What will happen if the weight is more than 20KG? Do they reject, or should I pay extra?
