Cremona: violin makers capital

We are traveling to Italy with a 1-day stop in Cremona. My son is a 15-year-old professional violinist, he wants to see everything related to violin making in Cremona, meet the makers themselves and try their instruments. Any ideas on how I can organize this?

Oh, you will love Cremona! We stopped there for an afternoon last year to visit the Duomo and meet a violin maker and had a great time! There is a violin museum located in Cremona - may be the Stradivarius society - so I would check with them to arrange a visit with a violin maker.

On this site you can find link and names of violinmakers. There is a e mail so you can contact any of them directly.
