Why not provide some useful DETAILED information?

Example. I learn there is a Bergamo card -- Splendid! So I click on more details.

The obvious questions are:

What does it cover?

Where do I get one?

How much does it cost?

Like with virtually every other piece of information I have required from this site I've drawn a complete blank.

Please keep in mind that a site that does NOT provide EASY TO FIND info of this nature is 'as much use as a chocholate fire-guard'!!

Yours faithfully

Dear Mr Burchett,

I'm sorry you didn't find the information you needed.

If you click on the Top Question Bergamo Card it directs you to a link: http://www.bergamocard.it/Azienda.aspx?id=214

How much does it cost?

Clicking on that you'll find the UPDATED prices of the various types of cards - 48hrs or 72hrs

Where do I get one?

Clicking on the word "Buy" on the left it opens to a list of places where you can buy the card:

http://www.bergamocard.it/Azienda.aspx?id=212

Clicking on the words written under "Click here for more information ... " you'll find the list of museums that offer discounts to Bergamo Card holders

http://www.bergamocard.it/Azienda.aspx?id=213

What does it cover?

The services include: use of ATB and TEB public transport and these are the routes:

www.atb.bergamo.it/ENG/Default.aspx…

The main reason for not copying the information onto the post - Top Question - is that things change. For example prices may increase, bus routes may change etc.. The Bergamo Card had just been introduced and the list of shops, museums etc. was not complete. Through the link you're sure you'll have the latest news.

If you let me know which other information you need I'd be pleased to help you.

I'd just like to point out that this a forum of fellow travellers that volonteer to exchange information and help to each other and not an official travel agency.

However let me know which information you require and I hope to succeed in filling in your " blanks "

Bye :)

Besides, this is a forum where people volunteer their time and effort to help others in planning their travels. We are not a free service agency, so please do not treat us like unwilling employees of one.

The Bergamo Card website is indeed useless because there is no information on the website. But this website is neither operated by TripAdvisor nor by any of us.

Girella, that was a very kind reply, to possibly the rudest post I have ever come across!

I hope Mr Burchett will feel suitably embarrassed when he sees the polite response to his post.
