Trains from Malpensa Aeroporto to Genova Piazza Principe are most frequent and do not need to be booked in advance - buy at the airport train station. But a short level change of train is necessary at Milano Centrale.
For the 12.30 direct bus to Genova Stazione Principe (same place as above) scroll down on gruppostat.com/autolinee-noleggi/…
For other direct buses to Genova Fanti d'Italia (a few yards nearer the cruise terminal) see https:/…FindYourTrip
Thank you - this has been very helpful.
The Busradar application does not give any direct buses other than the Busitalia ones already advised.
And note that Busradar shows train journeys only with connections from Malpensa by Terravision buses to Milano Centrale. It apparently does not access the other two bus lines on that route, nor the trains which are a more convenient option, as train tickets through to Genova can be purchased in one transaction at the airport, have an easier change at Milano Centrale, and provide a protected connection in the case of a late train from Malpensa. For trains see http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en
We need to get transportation from Malpensa Airport to the Genoa cruise terminal. Isnt there a direct bus?
and how much a taxi would cost for two people. will it be easy to get about with cos we know only English
Isnt there a bus from MSC to take there passengers to the port??
Otherwise take the train from Malpensa Aeroporto to Genova Piazza Principe with one easy level change at Milano Centrale. Times currently online at http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en only to December 8, but will be online through to next June very soon.
MSC do run buses, but I believe these are available only to those who book MSC's Fly and Cruise packages.
A booked car transfer is likely to cost over €200, get quotations yourself online. Do not simply take a taxi from the airport rank, as this will cost more.
Hi, did you do this transfer and how did it go ?. which would you recommend. We arrive airport at 10.10hrs ship leaves at 5pm
