November hiking and lodging

Hoping the weather cooperates to hike the trail and see the five villages in Cinque Terre. Advise on where to stay?

If the weather is cooperating, staying in the bigger town of Monterosso might give you more options, but still very few. I'd say also look into Levanto or Sestri, nearby towns with more open during the winter months.

Just the heads up - it seems the main trails along the coast are currently closed, the others are mostly still open though :)

At this point all the seaside trails are closed. Your best option is staying in Corniglia or one of the villages above the cinque terre, for example, Volastra, Groppo, san bernardino, etc. They have the easiest access to the open trails and are charming places to stay.

It's so calm you probably don't even need to make a reservation. just arrive and go to the first bar or restaurant and ask if there's a room available, you will certainly find a nice quiet place to stay.
