Anyone ever been to Rimini in October , just wondering if it too off season.

It depends what you are going for. If it's for the beach and the sea then yes it's usually too cold. Great for a walk on a sunny day, but not for swimming.

If it's for sightseeing and driving around then it's perfect.

In terms of restaurants, pubs, etc. the old town (Rimini Centro) and the bit by the sea (Marina Centro) are quite busy all year round, but mainly at the weekend.
