Earthquakes

We're going to north Italy this Saturday, and stay in Modena for one night. I'm a bit worried about the damage to the city. It'd be great if anyone can tell me how it is now. Thanks a lot!

Modena itself has not had big damages followed by red zones (no transit areas unless authorized); the shocks are always weaker and the overall situation has stabilised.

Yes,

almost all churches have completed the check up and be reopened. Only the San Barnaba church is closed.

The Pinacoteca Estense museum is still closed to the public.

The Pope is travelling there this week; I suppose the Vatican State do not want him harmed.
