2 full days in Rome, what things should we visit

Hi, we will be in Rome the 3rd week of June, and will have 2 full days to visit places. What main ones should we visit? We are from Australia and would also like to know the weather will be like then, hot, humid etc. I have heard there is daylight saving etc.

A good guide book and some time researching is the best way to determine what is most interesting and suitable for you and your party.

You are coming from Australia and you only have 2 days,

I would definitely browse the library and bookstore guidebook sections and determine your interests to make the best use of your short time.

www.ilmeteo.it www.wunderground.com www.accuweather.com are just a few weather sites to get an idea of what to expect.

Yes, it is daylight savings time.

Something I found spectacular was dusk at the Colosseum. You can wander around outside and the colours of the sky against the stone arches is spectacular ( well it was with a clear sky :) It was hot when we were there in June 2 yrs ago but as a fellow Aussie (Syneysider) not unbearable.

I would spend one day visiting Campo de Fiore (morning), Pantheon, Piazza Navonna, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Colosseum...easy walking from one to the other...then the other day can be for the Vatican and maybe walking Trastevere neighborhood or Borghese Gardens.....You can see a lot in one day.
