Rome - 24th May

Can anyone recommend a budget hotel at around £80-£90 a night for sightseeing in Rome. We are thinking of going over for 3 nights and due to the size of the place we are unsure where to stay. I have been recommended to stay near Trevi fountain but prices are very high. We will just be using the hotel for sleeping as will be out most of day sightseeing. Being near to a Metro would be helpful as we have no qualms about using one to get around.

Thanks in advance

Rome is expensive, you have less than one month time, and the area around Trevi is particularly requested. Try the usual booking sites, and maybe take into account some semi-central areas: not really far from the centre, but a little outside of it. For instance the area San Giovanni is not very touristy, certainly not overpriced, and by metro A you can easily go to Trevi.
