parking garage in ROme

We are driving from Avellino to Rome and need some reccommendations on parking garages around the area or maybe at the train station. We will need to leave our car all day and then join a tour in Rome. Can someone give me some ideas on a safe place to park the car and how much the rates would be for 10 hours?

Thanks,

lpnj

You can park your car at the train station, or at the Villa Borghese parking. I don't know about rates, I think 20 euros per day at most.

Try this site, It may be of some help

www.initaly.com/regions/latium/parking.htm

I guess depending where you're tour starts willl be the answer to where you should park. Just remember that there is a huge amount of traffic coming into Rome. It took us a few hours along the ring road outside of Rome just to get to our turnoff.

Does anyone know if you leave a car overnight ( 3 days ) at the Villa Borghese parking garage?
